Coffee Chat

My regular readers will notice I have been absent the last couple of days and I am so sorry about this.  What can I say…………I was tired and played hooky.

This middle aged lady is not used to working anymore, at least not physically working anyway.  College is a full time work out in itself, but for that I use my brain.  Working for the public as a cashier and standing for 8 hours a day, using muscles I had forgotten I have, is tiring to say the least.

This year I am not cooking a big dinner, in fact I am not cooking at all.  I have been one of the lucky people that have been chosen to work all night on Thanksgiving.  So my plan for the Thanksgiving holiday is to eat at a friend’s house and nap most of the afternoon away.

This week I am joining

Have a blessed Thanksgiving with your family and friends.  Now “Go Forth and Eat Turkey”.

Remember to,

  1. Happy Thanksgiving to you ~ namaste, Carol AEDM ~ (A Creative Harbor)

  2. Happy Thanksgiving, my friend! We are having a quiet dinner at home but I'll be thinking of you! I hope your work goes well and you have a nice dinner, too! Hugs! ♥

  3. So you are working all night? So sorry about that, but you will get quite a sight, people watching. I hope you can avoid any trampling! So glad you are eating at a friend's and don't have to cook, and that you will be napping and will be refreshed for your night watch. I hope you have a lovely day!!

  4. Poor turkey:(

Visiting late for Ruby Tuesday! Hope you can visit me too:)
